Supported Ministries

"We Care" ministries.
Risen Savior's "We Care" Ministries encourage God’s people to recognize their bodies as gifts from God, and themselves as stewards of those gifts through wellness education.

  • meet the spiritual, physical, and/or mental needs of others when they are hurting or suffering.
  • provide the opportunity to have another walk alongside a “Child of God” experiencing crisis, isolation, or loss.
  • reach out to the community to “carry each other's burdens and fulfill the law of Christ.”

Youth Haven is a welcome place where kids ages 7-12 can learn, grow and play in a setting of Christian love. It includes Bible stories, crafts, songs, games, a hot meal and, of course, FUN!  Teens from the community also serve as counselors and helpers!

For more information, contact Mrs. Linda Mayfield, the Youth Haven coordinator at 414-412-9913.

We thank the above foundations for their generous support of Youth Haven!

Let's Talk Girls’ Talk is a program that provides teen-aged girls the opportunity to discuss challenges that young women their age frequently encounter, and then determine how to resolve them in a Christian manner.

Teen Haven

Our Community Center is the home to our Teen Haven program. Teen Haven is offered to teenagers throughout the

area and provides them with a safe place to hang out, get some help with homework, and enjoy a hot meal after school and during the summer months.

Teen Haven meets Monday thru Thursday from 4:00-6:30 p.m.

Please contact Linda Mayfield for more information regarding Teen Haven activities and at  414-354-7320

Risen Savior's Food Pantry and Clothing Closet

Knowing that sometimes, for reasons beyond their control, people need some assistance with basic grocery items, the congregation maintains a limited supply of food for this purpose. It also gives the congregation the opportunity to share the good news of eternal life in Jesus. We distribute food to those in need in our zip code.

Distribution is on the 2nd and 4th Saturday from 11:45 AM to 1:30 PM.

Food Pantry Guidelines
You must have a valid photo ID which shows that you live in our neighborhood (since we can not serve the entire city, our focus is on our community). Help is limited to once per month. This allows us to assist more people and discourages dependency.

Clothing Closet
Clothing distribution is on the 2nd and 4th Saturday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM by appointment only.  Please call 414-698-2062 to schedule an appointment.

We thank the above foundation and local business for their support of our work in our community.
